The Process

We create our drawings with specialized software called Archicad**. This software enables us to produce a 3-Dimensional model of the building while simultaneously creating a traditional 2D plan drawing complete with section and elevations.

The 3D model, once created, then becomes a tool that enables clients to get a more accurate feel for the size, look and detail that goes into a building or home they would like to produce.

When we begin a drawing, we factor in the needs of our clients by asking them a series of questions regarding their lifestyle, family and location. If it is a business then we would like to know the type of property to be involved and again the location.

Some clients already have plan ideas written down, while others merely have the idea of a layout in their minds. This is where our service helps immensely, allowing people to get a first hand look before ever breaking ground.

As an added benefit we have saved our clients many more dollars over the cost of plans, by avoiding errors that could have only been seen using this type of software.

To best utilize the 3D benefit of the software, we send our clients 2 sets of prelims, each including the required floor plans and several snap shots of the 3D model from various angles in a PDF document. Click on the following link for an example of a preliminary drawing. Sample Prelim
